St. Augustine has a Art Walk every first Friday of the month. It's really rad mainly because the area of west king has really developed into a trendy little hood. The galleries keep their doors open late and offer music such as live bands and DJ's and even free booze-lovely. Even the tattoo parlors get in on it and put up cool art, it's def a cool place to be. One gallery in particular features artist that specialize in screen arts and each artist gets cooler. The pics I have taken are dark and have traces since I used the available light but they are different for that reason. The band Antartic rocked out on the streets in front of Pegasus Gallery and the crowd swarmed to see the local band jam out. I always enjoy taking pics of these guys. As soon as they finished without fail the police showed up to get everyone off the streets and to get rid of our drinks. What? You can't have open containers? Must have forgotten, whoops. All is well the night went on, the weather was great, the spirits were high, what great energy was being spread in the name of art and free beer. A success.
